Within the framework of the agreement on economic cooperation, representatives of Kursk region has organized visiting fairs of food and non-food products in Moscow. The fairs are held by the Regional Budgetary Institution "Kursk Korenskaya Fair Exhibition Center", a branch of the Committee for Consumer Market, Small Business Development and Licensing of Kursk Region.
As stated by Chairman Mikhail Nikolayevich Aksyonov, in addition to financial support measures, Administration of Kursk Region assists entrepreneurs in trading of products both during fairs held in Kursk region and outside it.
Products from Kursk region are constantly of great demand in Moscow. Manufacturers work here without intermediaries, so they have an opportunity to expand sales market and attract new customers.
Due to a 3-month break (January-March), the Department of Trade and Services of Moscow received a huge number of applications for organizing fairs in April 2017. The applications came from all the regions of the country, but only 12 retail areas out of 28 were actually ready. The Moscow government decided to agree on holding joint fairs for 2 or 3 regions in April 2017.
Thus, according to the tradition of regional fairs in Moscow, Kursk and Udmurtia joint trade fair was held on April 11-17, 2017 (address: 51/21 Nakhimovsky Avenue, near «Profsoyuznaya» Metro Station).
The event was attended by 13 manufacturers from Kursk region, as well as their representatives, who brought the following goods to the capital of Russia: vegetables, fruits, herbs and seedlings (4 participants), bee products (3), sausages made by Sudzhansky meat-packing plant (1), bakery products (1), confectionery (1), dried fruits (1), clothes for children (1), textiles (1)
